Why I chose to be an RMT

I’m a strong proponent of living ones best life, self care and responding to the needs of our mind and body. I became interested in Massage Therapy because it offers people a supplemental approach to traditional health care that will help lead to optimal living.

An RMT since 1996

Throughout the years, I’ve enjoyed  investing time with my patients to demonstrate methods to help manage pain and discomfort between treatments and to enhance their overall physical and mental well being. After graduating from Sutherland Chan School and Teaching Clinic, in 1996, I entered the industry and my scope of practice has included treating many conditions. Some of those being, patients who have experienced motor vehicle accidents and other traumas, symptoms associated with pregnancy, sport’s injuries, TMJD, stress & relaxation, & work related injuries.

My journey to FTNU

Over the years, I have practiced in many settings, such as, spas, chiropractic offices & physiotherapy clinics. I found myself drawn to TMJD treatments even before joining FTNU. Being apply to apply my decades long passion for manual therapy with the focused training provided at FTNU to work with this specific demographic of patients is incredible special to me. I’m ecstatic to be part of the FTNU team!

Between the techniques

I’m passion about patient education regarding pain and other symptoms can manifest in the body. In addition to working primarily on the head, neck and shoulders it is important to understand how these symptoms can impact other areas.  I enjoy investing time with my patients to demonstrate methods to manage pain and discomfort between treatments and enhance their overall physical and mental well being.
